Hi All,
Bertram Levy and his daughter Madeline will be performing a house concert at my place here in Portland, Oregon, on Friday, March 23. Among his many accomplishments, Bertram was a member of the hugely influential Hollow Rock String Band and subsequently went on to found the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes in Port Townsend, Washington. Bertram's solo banjo album That Old Gut Feeling is a classic. Madeline Levy has been playing fiddle since she was four years old. In this concert she'll be accompanied by Bertram playing both banjo and Anglo concertina. Folk interested in attending can email me at scott.killops@gmail.com for more info or to make a reservation.
