Who all attended Wintergrass this last weekend? Boy did I have a great time. There was quite a variety of performers. My favorite BG group was The Gibson Brothers. Vocals from Eric and Leigh were fantastic and Eric turned in a rock solid banjo performance. I also particularly liked the Old Time music of Charlie Beck and Charmaine Slaven. This Seattle duo calls themselves Squirrel Butter and Charlie’s banjo and Charmaine’s dancing and guitar was so enjoyable to watch. Charlie also did a very good job teaching the “Frailing with the Banjo” workshop. For those that made the trip to Bellevue, what did you think?

	Banjob says: 2/28/2011 5:30:55 PM I was there Fri & Sat. Picked with the vendors, jammed in the halls, and played in the OBA suite. Didn't see ANY shows - didn't want to miss any of the jammin'.
	ScottK says: 3/1/2011 11:49:15 AM I didn't make Wintergrass, but did catch Caleb Klauder's Country Band with Joel Savoy and Jesse Lege at the Secret Society Ballroom last Thursday night. That was a great dance party! And Charlie Beck and Charmaine Slaven are old favorites for sure. Cheers, Scott
