Pyramid Banjers

From bryantde on 1/28/2011 6:13:07 AM

I call these banjos a poor man's prewar flathead!  They are as close as I will ever come to owning a prewar flathead....

They are light and good on an old man's back.

I have just put together another really nice 1928 prewar TB1 Gibson pot and cut rim and added one of Arnold Clayton's pyramid rings.

This will make a killer banjer with the addition of a 5 string neck.

Another gentleman has shot at his but if he declines it will be coming to the hangout!

Later,

Don Bryant in NC
