I know that this is obviously a very subjective and a your mileage may vary (YMMV) topic, but I am basically just looking for sugestions/guidance on what briges seem to work best on the RK's. Everyone's ear, set up and idea of the best tone is different, and I will most likely get a bunch of different answers.
I am picking up my RK-87 that i picked up here from the classifieds after work today and my plan is to set it up myself since I set up my RK-35 when I had it last year (foolishly sold it) and had a snuffy smith bridge on it. Also going to put on some D'Addario J60+ strings and dial it in.
Any suggestions or direction is appreciated, as I would like to avoid buying a ton of bridges, amybe limit it to experimenting with 3 or 4. Going to stick with the stock 5/8" height. Thanks.
