Hello all,
I'm new to the banjo, and come Wednesday, to the Recording King owner family.
I have a Hatfield Celebrity, which I absolutely LOVE, but I'm nervous about traveling with it. My banjo instructor recommended the RK-R25. I had considered a Goodtime II, but for bluegrass I was told the R25 was the way to go, even without the tone ring.
My Hatfield is my main squeeze, but if I'm going somewhere and want to keep picking on vacation, my R25 will be a less stress-inducing option.
Ryan
