I found an achieved thread in the forum on Recording Kings being made in the U.S.

A couple of months ago I purchased an R25 on Amazon. Is this a Chinese built banjo or is it one of the American ones? I looked in the resonator but I didn't find any information.

It's a fine banjo, and I like it. I'm just trying to find out more about it now. Is there a serial number I should be looking for somewhere? Any indicators?

	fish carver says: 5/28/2014 1:01:10 PM They make a few high end Banjos in California... But the Rk 25 is made in China...but still an excellent Banjo for the money!

	fish carver says: 5/28/2014 2:49:00 PM I have the RK36 and love it. I recently got a Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard and have been playing it mostly...but I still like my Rk36 and would never get rid of it!
