Happy customer!

From orioletb1 on 3/21/2015 5:02:23 PM

I've owned my RK35 almost a year and I'm still in love. I've owned some great American banjos like Gibson, Yates, and Huber. I believe these are nearly that good with the right setup. I have an RK36 coming next week from a BHO member and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Yep, had them all too and the RK's equal and in some cases surpass some very high end banjos in tone. Something a lot of folks don't want to admit or talk about LOL.

Mine beats two of the four Hubers, the Deering Golden Era, and both Gibsons I've owned. It's one of the best maple banjos I've ever played!

Love my RK36. Lot of folks including my teacher comment on how good the sound is.

I just bought an RK-35 to be a leave at work, take camping, back of my motorcycle banjo so I can leave my Stelling at home out of harms way. IMO the RK will never replace my Stelling in quality or sound but I gotta say I was pretty pleased with how nice this little banjo is. I think you would be hard pressed to find another banjo in this price range of this caliber.

I buy sound, I owned a Staghorn and my RK beats it in sound hands down.

I have a custom Bales banjo, a Gibson RB-4, and a late 60's Baldwin Ode, all three haven't been out of their cases since I got my RK-35 back in January, I threw some Keith tuners on it and it's the perfect banjo

That's exactly what I mean! I just bought a 1930 style 1 that could compete with some original flatheads, otherwise my RKs would be getting played a lot more. Just tremendous banjos and these early ones will be very collectible in decades to come.
