I purchased a cheap glass slide a few weeks ago figuring it would be fun to play with. I sound lousey normally however I sound down-right awful with a slide. Still trying... Maybe this group will help (can't hurt).

	Bob Kemper says: 4/7/2015 6:21:28 AM My banjo playing is mostly Jazz on a B&D tenor, some claw hammer on a 5-string, all kinds of music on guitar from big band rythum section to Bluegrass and blues. I had never heard of slide banjo until a couple of weeks ago. How much fun while frailing! :]

It's a pretty thing with all gold hardware and cherry wood neck and body.. For some reason I haven't played it much but it does have a sweet sound.. Hadn't occurred to me to try sliding it-- Think i will..
