My dad always said it was a running joke at festivals in the 70s when a banjo was out of tune to say, "you sound like Roger Sprung..."

Was Roger's banjo sometimes out of tune or was it just his style???

Anybody know?

	BDCA says: 10/26/2013 9:58:44 AM Roger was also known as the "Big Jew" and "Sausage Fingers". The South in those days was not the bastion of tolerance. Just being from New York was trouble. I played guitar in Roger's band during our summer festival tours.. Cya! Bob
