Roger's students should get a kick out of this. Click here and listen from about the 33:50 mark to the 36:30 mark. At a 1969 festival, Roger is asked to play the first song he ever learned. He says, "I know what it was because I teach it all the time." He then plays his basic incomplete-forward-roll version of "Skip to My Lou," followed by his "now I would do it like this" version.
