I picked up a Thunderbolt last night from a reputable member of BHO who I've done business with before. He told me the tone ring was the same as the V35, but unplated. Banjo sounds great but I'm looking for a bridge that works best for the banjo. The 1st string is a bit edgy.

Right now I have a Purcell red maple that seems to be the best. I'm going to try a Sosbee and a Snuffy Smith. They seem to work great on anything.

Any other reccomdations?
