While we're waiting for people to join, may I suggest Dr. Josh Turknett's blog entries? He writes extensively about the neurology of learning and how to practice banjo effectively:

Don't be scared by "neurology" or "Dr." He writes plainly and clearly, and there's no test at the end.

I have been listening to "The Tune of the Week Archives"! clawhammerbanjo.net/clawhammer...the-week/ Some great tunes there. I really love neuroscience and all the research around it. The Brain that Changes Itself by Norman Doidge et al.
