The version of Wildwood Flower that I was learning was giving me trouble. I think it was to advanced for my skill level. Yesterday I searched for an easier version and found one in the Best Of Jack Hatfield book I have. I also have the sound file to go with the tab. I started learning the easier version yesterday. I'm not giving up on more complicated versions, just moving them down the road. Sometimes you just have to adjust. It reminds me of a Clint Eastwood line in a Dirty Harry movie. "A mans got to know his limitations."

	Judith511 says: 12/11/2019 7:23:37 AM Yes sometimes I start a tune but then stop as it just seems to be to much for me. I am only going on 3 and a half years so lots more to learn. I started Foggy Mountain Special. It is a catchy tune but its going to take awhile to get it good for sure. :D

I have to do the same thing, because I get stuck on stuff and just start repeating the same practice over and over trying to get it right. But moving on and doing something else is usually more productive. If I come back to what I was stuck on, it'll be easier after having done other things for a while.
