I've gotten faster at learning a tune, and I think some of that might be from having stumbled on some of the techniques in the article. I do vary things when practicing. But I still do a lot more repetition in one session than the article suggests I should. Maybe I should be quicker to move from one thing to another within a session.
	Judith511 says: 8/11/2020 2:53:44 PM Interesting. I have been trying to memorize Blackberry Blossom, a different layout than the one I originally learned. Got the first part and the last part but I keep forgetting the middle...maybe some of their suggestions would help me memorize it. I also find if I don't play what I have memorized regularly then it starts to disappear. :(
