I just put together a new resonator banjo, using a 1926 Vega Professional pot that I got from Wyatt. The tubaphone tone ring was missing, so he modified a Retrotone ring to fit. I installed a Bart Reiter curly maple 5 string neck to it, and changed out the head from the Fiberskin Elite that Wyatt had on it to a Remo Weatherking top frosted head. This is one LOUD Bluegrass banjo, and works fine for Clawhammer as well. Photos are posted on my home page.
