The next Andy's Banjo Workshop (No.3) will take place on Saturday 18th February at the Red Bull, near Kidsgrove (ST7 3AJ) . In a nutshell, the course programme will focus on the art of playing in a session with emphasis on how to anticipate where an unfamiliar song or tune is going, back-up and soloing in any key with no capo, improvisation through chord shapes and improvisation through scale patterns. FInally, we will explore the wonders of the 'audio illusion' - where you appear to know what you're doing even if you don't.
