HI MY PALM IS SOMETIMES TOUCHING MY BRIDGE IS THAT A PROBLEM?

	conic says: 12/9/2017 10:07:48 AM Dont worry about touching the bridge, just make sure you watch many picking hands and how they are positioned and try stuff out, there is no wrong way to do this but what feels right for you. I was picking for a few years with a lot of messy notes then at a picking weekend Eddie suggested I arch my wrist forward a touch more and it did improve ( I am still a messy picker but getting better ) As for the video link, not seen this technique used before. just when you think you have heard it all the banjo always surprises. Jens Kruger is a great teacher and for a beginner I recommend the DVD" Jens Krugers banjo method for beginners" put some effort into what he is teaching and It will leap you forward in your banjo journey. Also pay real close attention to the way he is forward rolling from about 52 seconds, play it many times and once you can roll like that without thinking about it, it will change your banjo life youtube.com/watch?v=3OcsC8gkF88
	Buzzbomb says: 12/9/2017 11:00:38 AM I'd say the palm should not be anywhere near touching the bridge... At least for regular 3-finger picking. It should be parallel to it about 3"-4" off the head (in my case) and as Conic says arched forward. It should be where the hand/wrist is in a relaxed position with the forearm on the armrest.

	tav rees says: 12/10/2017 1:17:17 AM Cheers for the commits ill have to keep an eye on my wrist i arch it in the beginning but then I notice that it straightens out thats when my Palm touches the bridge.
