Any BG pickers near Wigan?

Would be great to find a few like minded people or lone pickers just to practice with so any ability would be good as ive been playing Banjo for 12 months and need some live practice..

	Blue Tuesday says: 9/13/2019 12:18:24 AM When I saw Leyland mentioned I got all excited thinking I could do that. But Rainford is a bridge too far for a school night. Something near Preston or Lancaster would be good. Having said that I travel 70 miles once a month for a bit of Banjo togetherness. So, it may be worth considering.
	ping182 says: 9/13/2019 12:43:27 AM If you can make the trip it’s well advised as I went for the first time on Wednesday and they are a great bunch of lads who are all great players and play a real varied mix of songs not just BG They all made me feel right at home and Maybe one day my ability will let me partake better but hey we all start somewhere I guess Very relaxed atmosphere
