Hello Everybody,
Many thanks for adding me to this list. I am a beginner. I have been trying teach myself, from Youtube, for nearly a year. Face to face teachig has not been possible during COVID and finding a teacher near where I live (West coast of Wales) is tricky anyway. This is the first instrument that I have picked up. Also, I am blind, so some things are tricky in the learning phase.

So, it is all a bit difficult, but I am loving it all the same! Hopefully, if we get back to normal, I can get a teacher and unlearn all these bad habits that I am sure to have developed.

	BlindAndInTheWay says: 4/5/2021 2:24:19 AM Thanks all and thanks Hobogal. I have been learning Scruggs style largely because it seems more tactile, but I love the sounds of Clawhammer. I just canlt seem to get sensible sounds when I try that style. To be honest,, all the styles I hae heard are interesting. I will check out the Murphy method. I have to figure out a lot by ear anyway as I can;t read tabs very easily, due to my lack of eyesight.
