Hi all does anyone know where I can get banjo lessons. I live in the Rochdale / Manchester area so anyone local to me would be great

	conic says: 8/9/2021 1:42:39 PM Best thing to do is go to the bluegrass weekender on the weekend of September Thur 9, Fri 10, Sat 11 at THE JUNCTION pub 102 NEWS LANE RAINFORD ST HELENS WA11-7JU, bring your banjer and talk to people over a pint, there are tons of great banjo pickers up the north who will put you right and you can learn a lot as well as make good friends on that weekend alone, I have found that they are a very friendly bunch who love to share their knowledge. we will also be having a slow jam which will be good for you if your experienced or not.

Regarding lessons in the N/W, I'd suggest Stuart Williams, he's based in Frodsham if you want to learn 3 finger Scruggs style, for frailing i'd suggest Bonz Barns, he's based near Hadfield. If your serious about learning this instrument i'd be happy to show you the basics, and a bit more, and check your Banjo out. Just get in touch..
