Hello I am Alan and I have just joined this group. I am from Barnsley in Sth. Yorkshire. I fee a bit of a fraud as I do not play a 5 string but I do love the sound of all banjo's. I play Celtic music on a Goodtime 2 Irish Tenor and can be found frequently in local sessions

You may want to look up Liam Elliot on here, he is from Waterford and like me, he plays both banjos, he is a great guy and tenor player....joe,

	Banjowen says: 1/8/2015 3:03:31 AM Hi Alan, always keep in mind this is Banjo Hangout not Bluegrass Banjo Hangout or 5 String Hangout, I've had a couple of tenor banjos myself and had a friend who was both proficient on the tenor banjo and uilleann pipes he's since moved over to Ireland were he teaches both instruments, playing music is all about enjoyment whatever instrument you play.
