I've been told there is a post on 'Facebook' saying that the Coastline Bluegrass Festival has finished. Does anybody know anything about this? If true, how sad. Best festival in the Uk.

It started out as a five year project which proved so successful that we decided to take it on to 10 years., and now after ten years it will come to an end. Thanks to all those who volunteered to act as stewards and receptionists - without them we could no have functioned. Thanks also to all those bands who have appeared, whether from Europe or the U.K. and to the sound team - great job ! A very special thanks to all you who came along and supported the event - we provided the facilities but you made the festival !!"
	alfiedog says: 11/10/2016 4:50:48 PM Very sad day :( But last years festival was not very good , to be honest, great bands, bad beer, no jamming after the concerts finished at approx 11.00pm) Its a great venue, but maybe a bit to close to the local housing estate :( :(
