Hello,

I am new to the site and just found this group. I posted a topic under "Other Banjo Related" plus some pics about a Vega banjo that belonged to my late father in law. I have searched online but would appreciate more expert knowledge about the instrument. My father in law played in jazz bands from a young age and the instruments he collected are now in my guardianship. Sorry but don't know how to attach pics to this post!

	Eamonn69 says: 2/27/2015 5:57:08 PM Hello thanks for the reply, it's a four string but don't know the model that's why I'm here. I've been searching online for the same banjo but nothing has shown up so far. The photos are posted in 'Other Banjo Related'. The peghead is my profile pic. Eamonn

	Marc Nerenberg says: 3/1/2015 4:41:07 PM That would put the banjo as having been manufactured in 1930, when the serial numbers ran from 89729 to 94716 (according to this website: whitetreeaz.com/vintage/banjomfg.htm).
