years ago, circa 1976, I was a student in the non credit bank class at The Ohio State University Student Union.
One of the other students had an Eastern Kentucky instrument that was about a 10" pot, with a cut down coffee can as a rim, and a possum head. The top was simple carved, popular.
It sounded great. Has anyone seen similar instruments? Any idea of source?
