Just a word on my curly maple banjo that I purchased from Ron,all I can say is it's a great banjo. I have made no major changes except a skin head and a DC banjoworks bridge I play it every day and enjoy it very much so hats off to you Ron and thanks.....:-)

Those are some great banjos guys.

I've had my WM Whyte Laydie for a couple of years during which time I've come to prefer the Tubaphone sound more, so Ron has my parts right now and is making me a cherry rim to convert it to a bracket band Tubaphone and I'm expecting it to sound exceptional once I've found its voice. Ron told me that of all the many banjos he's built the best one he's ever made was a cherry rim/neck banjo so I'm excited to see this project come together.

Once completed, I'll likely list my WM internal resonator Whyte Laydie rim for sale but if anyone here is interested you all get first shot at it.

I like David's bridges quite a bit and I used one of his cherry/katalox bridges for a couple of months, but I eventually settled on a Sosebee Select Maple on my little Tubaphone that I like better. The cherry did a nice job of shifting the Tubey away from a too bright high end and more towards a fuller mid-tone.
