I've owned a Venom '33 ring for about 8-9 years, and it's improved the tone of my banjo significantly, even though it has an inexpensive rim in it. Recently I ordered a whole pot assembly from Warren, which is another V33 ring, a Thermally Aged maple rim, and a RK flange. I'm really looking forward to putting this one together! This will be the first time I've had a rim, tone ring and flange cut for each other. Everything else I've had has been parts that weren't made to fit each other perfectly. I think I'm in for a good surprise.
