I own two Yates rings, one in a Gibson and the other in my Huber Lancaster. Both sound great. I also own a Gibson with a Burlile ring in it. Since Jim Burlile is my good friend, I won't say the Yates sound better but I pick the Yates rings more. I really like the growl of the 3rd and 4th strings. Warren is an excellent person to do business with too. I most recently bought one of his maple rims for a arch top I was building. Great products.
