Hello all,
Just curious...I have a Yates Ron Stewart and I was wondering if my tailpiece adjustment in the back is abnormally high off the stretcher band (where it bends around over the hoop). I know that I did some adjustments to it a few months after it arrived and I may have repositioned it higher than it was set up when I received it. It now measures exactly 1/4" off the hoop at the back underside of the tailpiece and that looks pretty high to me. I would like to get it back to the way it arrived set up. I would appreciate it if some of you with Yates banjos would please tell me how wide your space is between the bottom of the back of the tailpiece and the top of the tension hoop. I would also be curious of your tailpiece height off the head at the front of the tailpiece.
Many thanks.
