Warren's Committment to his Banjos

From Dave_RB75 on 7/14/2013 11:25:34 AM

We have all heard this, but I have learned from personal experience that Warren is absolutely totally dedicated to making sure that we are 100% satisfied with everything he touches. I needed a minor adjustment to the action of my BT-1949 and Warren treated my concern far and above the normal call of duty. I couldn't be happier with my choice of banjos and its builder.  Thanks, Warren!  Just wanted everyone to know.

That has been my experience as well. He has always responded to my emails and been very helpful with information.

By the way Dave - will you be posting any sound files of your BT-1949? I'd love to hear them (and your comparison between it and your RS Mahogany). I also have a RS Mahogany but have been captivated by these Youtube clips of the BT-1949. Are you the Dave who's clip is here:

If so, you are a lucky man! Love to hear additional clips! Did you get to try a RS-75? An awfully nice clip here:

Enjoy your banjo!

Yes, that was my clip. I love the banjo and hope to be posting an additional clip or two (I doubt I can do it justice). I saw Ron at a 'Cars show and he mentioned he had just selected some maple for a new 49, which ended up with me. BTW, the RS-75 was for friend Patrick Wingo (BHO and Yates Fan)...

Totally agree he is pure to his craft and dedicated to quality - in a visit to Area 51(highly recommended), he took the time to tweak my RS (it's never sounded better), shape me some excellent fingerpicks and cover many components of tone and techniques to pull tone from his amazing banjos. He is one of the top craftsman in the business, true to his craft and one of the nicest people on the planet. He told me that his banjos carry a lifetime guarantee (he clearly lives it) but he said that was only "his" lifetime (excellent).

Hey, Dave. I'm a bit late seeing your post. The 75 still keeps impressing me. Bet you have that BT49 singing sweet by now...!

Have to echo how committed Warren is to his banjos. I was in the Ashville area recently and emailed him that I was not sure about my set up on my RS maple. He asked me to come on out ti Hickory and he would take a look at it.
After a couple of tweaks to my bridge and coordinator rods, my5 has never sounded better. A real cannon. A great craftsman and genuinely nice individual.

He is always very responsive to questions. Seems like a great guy.
