I joined the Yates Blog the other day and this is my first post.
I have long admired Yates banjos after finding them along with banjo hero, Ron Stewart, on Youtube. Last night (Nov. 1, 2013) my wife and I saw Ron and the Boxcars in Valdese, NC....AWESOME band..........and I finally met the maker, Warren Yates (nicest guy in the world!!).........all in the same night! That was almost too much for this mountain boy to handle at one time.
Also, Donnie Little was there and after the show Donnie and Ron played a few Yates banjo that Warren had brought with him. I was in heaven.
Check out all the Yates banjo Youtube videos, if you have not already I am gonna get a Yates banjo, no doubt about it!
