I spent a lot of time speaking with Warren about really wanting the Skillet head sound but just not being able to get behind the neck on the Skillet Head. So he's making me a Skillet Head pot with an RS75 neck. Maybe a bit sacrilegious to a hardcore Yates fan, but it fits the bill for what I want and Warren was fine building it. It will have the finish of the RS75. It's shipping next week.

I'm looking forward to finally getting the Skillet head sound.

	nograss5150 says: 6/27/2015 10:23:44 AM Joe, if it comes from Warren, I think you'll be happy with it. I didn't know there was much of a difference between the pots of the different models. The neck is thicker on the SH but the tone is sure there. And, nothing sacrilegious about getting what you want if the maker will agree to the build. Enjoy the new jo.

I was planning to go down over the 4th when Ron was going to be there for the setup, but life got in the way. This way I figure I get the SH sound with the RS75 neck and playability. To my thinking, it's the best of both.
