In this, Tunetorial number 20, Dan "Clawdan" Levenson teaches the tune Cold Frosty Morning. While there are many versions of this tune, this one comes melodically from the playing of Melvin Wine and is an A Major variant of the tune. You can hear his fiddle version with Ron Mullennex on banjo on his Hannah at the Springhouse recording. Originally a Merrimac recording, it has been reissued on the Augusta Heritage label.
