I'm a New Zealand based musician having run a 1920s dance orchestra (Brett's New Internationals - currently inactive) for 17 years and a Salon Orchestra for several. Played in a number of different groups on different instrument - classical to big band to stage shows. Really interested in everything musical from the 1920s - especially in jazz, popular and light music. Born in New Plymouth, but lived mostly in Auckland. Have lives the last 10 years in Paeroa, but my wife works in Wellington so I'm often there as well. Currently bandmaster of the local Kerepehi Brass Band and play with Katikati Concert Band (sax), Kati Katz Dixieland Band (banjo), Thames Citizens Band (Drums/Percussion), Waihi Salvation Army Band (if needed on either Cornet or Euphonium)
