Played rock in the 60's & 70's. Gave it up. Got the bluegrass bug in 2005, restored a 1920's Vega style banjo and have been picking since. Doing some jamming & performing in 2 bands now! Upgraded to a Washburn B16. Great banjo for the $. with a good setup this banjo does all I ask of it. Play in an Irish band (Blueclover) and a country band (Along For The Ride) adding Dobro, mandolin and a little bluegrass banjo to the mix!.
