I am a closet picker. I want to learn clawhammer, and how to play with other people. I play about 90 songs now in Scruggs, Stanley and some Keith style and have written about 10 banjo songs. Although a retired CEO, consultant and teacher, I am still learning. I collect old banjos. I had about 45 of them at one time, however, I could not find anyone to do simple work on them, so I am down to just 9 oldies. I live in Ashby, MA and will travel for lessons.
I am very serious about banjo and l am Iooking for a teacher that will appreciate what I can do yet, with understanding and patience, teach me how to expand and play much better with my limited abilities.
