I have in my possession, since the 1970’s, a Bacon Chubby Dragon Professional 5 string banjo, serial number 173.  

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how old this banjo is?  Unfortunately, I am thinking of selling it as I seldom use It anymore.  Also, could anyone give me an estimate of its value?  I would appreciate the help.
