Playing Since: 1977
Experience Level: Purty Good
Interests:
[Jamming] [Socializing]
Occupation: Training Specialist, Manufacturing, LED FastStart
Gender: Male
Age: 66
My Instruments:
1. Custom made Stewart MacDonald kit with arch top and custom hand carved inlays.
2. 1964? Dixie Banjo Uke (not currently playable)
3. No-name, open back, fretless...probably made from a kit. Bought it from a friend.
4. Alvarez acoustic guitar (circa 1978)
5. Harmony mandolin (looks like a beginner model, probably 40+ years old)
6. McSpadden mountain dulcimer
7. Epiphone copy of 59 Les Paul
8. Epiphone by GIbson strat-like electric
9. Washburn acoustic guitar with electronics (my father-in-law bought this just a few months before he passed away...very special guitar)
10. Bell and Son Boucher minstrel banjo that I built from a kit. I play this one with Roscoe, Lee and Abadie, a reenacting antebellum and Civil War era trio. Update - this banjo was destroyed in the flood of 2016.
11. Gardner Boucher-style - Unable to restore my Bell and Son Boucher, and having limited funds available, I purchased a Gardner minstrel banjo from Don Gardner in Ohio. Great tone and workmanship for the price!

Been playing for years, but don't let that throw you. I'm only ok at it.
