Good day,
I have a Cammeyer Grade 3 5-string Banjo that I obtained and am busy restoring. The serial number on it is 4395. How can I find out when it was made. I have obtained a set of Ernie Ball Banjo strings. I still have to make a bridge and string the Banjo.
I am just waiting for a friend who knows a lot more than me to help. I am trying to find photo's of similar Cammeyer Banjo's but I am struggling to get. I live in Bloemfontein, Freestate, South Africa
Unfortunately I do not know how to add photos here. Will however place a photo on my profile

I used to play percussion when at school. Now my daughter is studying music and I am helping her with instruments. I try to restore and service her instruments. Would like to get some advice from people with more experience
