My favorite things in the world are writing and trying to learn this dadgummed banjo!! I have numerous published articles in various magazines and three novels based on true stories (the first one, Time & Again, has a little bit about a beginning banjo picker in it and even mentions Murphy Henry and the Murphy Method in it. And yes, Murphy has read it and seemed to like it!) I won't tell how long I've tried to learn the banjo but it's taken awhile. Layed off a couple of times and am now back at it, going strong. Finally moved from Calif. to near Nashville TN and am just where I need to be to get lots of practice. For my books please see www.lindahorton.com
