Started getting serious about playing January 2009, Bought my Eagle II this past Spring. In June ,started taking private lessons with someone who actually knows what they are talking about! Basically having to start over to "unlearn" some very bad habits. Presently play with an ensemble at Vol State Community College called "Bluegrass Ablaze". After the first of the year (2012) will begin looking at trying to restart a Bluegrass Association in Metro Nashville and surrounding counties. If anyone is interested in helping to to organize this , let me know. Have had a few people interested already from the IBMA Convention in October!
