Dear folks. While I play bluegrass gospel mandolin (45+ years now), and I once played a 1974 Hondo 5-string, I appreciate the vital place a banjo has in many genres of music. I have a couple of old, used cheapie, right-handed banjos that I pick on now and then. They mostly stay in my adult son, Jonathan's room, as he enjoys stringed instruments. But Jonathan is left-handed. I recently began replacing his old, right-hand hand-me-downs with lefties. He has a Johnson lefty acoustic guitar, and a left-handed A-model mandolin from a Goodwill store out of state is arriving in the mail today. With all that said, I'm wondering if any of you folks out there have an old, used, left-handed 5-stinger that you might be willing to sell on the cheap. Be for a real good cause. I'm 63, Jonathan is 20, and my wife of 42 years, we all live on a small 7-acre farm in west-central WV. We grow row crops and live on a tight budget. Not asking for charity, just a good deal for an instrument someone may have lying around the house not being used. God bless for reading and considering.
