Chicago banjo ?

I have an old Chicago banjo and can't find any info about it. I am wondering when they were manufactured and by who. The neck width is smaller than standard and am also looking for a cheap neck to replace it. This banjo hangs out behind the seat of my truck and is a real beater but comes in handy for sitting on the tailgate and picking a little before I go into work or when I get stuck in traffic. LOL I appreciate any info anyone has.
