I only have a couple tunes I play in the f#ADAD tuning, John Henry Blues and Muskrat (same tune as Cornbread and Butterbeans). Does anyone have suggestions for other songs you like in this tuning. Also in tuning eEABD, I love Sugar Babe in this tuning but don't play much else in it.

I started playing in 1992 and the learning and teaching journey goes on. I was lucky enough to have jammed and learned with one of the country's finest banjo players and who is also one of the country's finest banjo builders, Jeff Kramer, owner of CloverLick banjos. I also studied banjo in West Virginia, Wisconsin, Michigan and South Dakota. I love to teach and share the awesome sounds of the banjo; all styles. I am in a band called "Down The Road" and tremendously enjoy playing and singing with them. My hope is to encourage music to be played in more places and have more people develop their skills and share the gift of music. I also play and teach mandolin and play a little guitar too. I encourage both singing and playing instruments at the same time--it helps both skills improve better faster. I love passing on music theory as well. Mary "The pain passes, the beauty remains."
