Born and raised in Florence, Alabama joined the Navy in 1977 met my wife while stationed in Boston in 1980 and the rest as they say is history. I have always enjoyed blue grass since that is all we every listened to growing up in rural alabama. I always wanted to learn the banjo but life always seemed to get in the way and now that I am in my 40's I have the time and resources to learn!!
