Old geezer. *Just* started playing. Self-teaching for my first month - just taking it easy, no pressure, learning to love the instrument a little more each day and keeping my promise to play just as much as I feel like every day. Then I'll start lessons. Overjoyed to have taken up the instrument. Away from music since end of high school, when I could finally give up playing instruments I hated. First strum on a banjo put a big smile on my face a chill down my back. Think I might have found my instrument.
