Hi everybody, Ive just joined this forum as I'm looking for information and wondered if anybody here has come across Arthur Albert Rann? He's my great grandfather, family recollection is that he was a well known banjo player early 20th/late 19th century. He was from London, born 1883, lived in Holloway and died in Saltdean, Sussex in 1966. He is listed as a jeweller (I think polishing rather than cutting the Koh-i-noor diamond) in my grandmother's birth certificate but we also know he was a banjo player. I have just unearthed a band photo (it's my profile picture as I cant upload it onto this blog for some reason) and am assuming the banjo player is Arthur Albert - maybe someone recognises one of the musicians? I'd really appreciate any information, I come from a long line of musicians and my son's an excellent guitarist, so we'd love to know more. Thanks (fingers crossed).
