I found an old cassette tape (yeah, you remember those?) with a recording of the tune, Virginia Mountain Banjo, by Jack Cooke and The Virginia Mountaineers. Anyone out there with knowledge of Del McCoury's history with this band? Would the banjo player for this tune have been Del? Just curious. Thanks!
