I love music and want more than anything to learn these tunes: Arkansas Traveler, Irish Washer Woman, Beggarman, and Sault Creek using the three finger bluegrass style. I watched Rob Bourassa's Cripple Creek sessions and learned it in 8 hours. Before that I was practicing the 8 scruggs roles and getting use to finger picks. Keeping my pinky down is hard after playing guitar for 15 years. Now, 3 weeks later, I have moved up to learning some great songs from my online banjo buddies and am getting faster on the rolls. I have a songbook going with the tunes I have learned. There is a big difference between knowing a song, playing a song, singing a song and actually playing a song in the traditional BG style. I have so much to learn.
