Spring is almost here, which means festivals will soon be outdoors once more. After being fairly absent from them last year for family reasons, I am really looking forward to getting out to some summer festivals once more. Both as a Nechville vendor and as a picker.

I got started by listening to Hartford and Seeger, then got busy for years earning a living and raising kids. I addressed my mid-life crisis by getting a new banjo, taking lessons and learning to play bluegrass. Now, I just can't stop picking.
