1930 Gibson #6 original Flathead. Gave $2000 for it in 1978 and thought I was paying way to much but I liked the sound. How things change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Tony Wray, Steve Sutton, David West, Gaylon Harper. Most people won't know who these Banjo Pickers are but the are as good if not better than the big names.
They just haven't been in the spotlight yet and may never be but still great to watch

Played full time in a full time band for 8 yrs. till I burnt out on the traveling. Took off 8 yrs. and started playing Blues & etc.
for a while on Bass. Started picking Banjo again 3 yrs. ago and it is fun again. Play with 2 local bluegrass bands doing fairly local stuff. not much pay but it sure is fun again. No pressure of the traveling and being 100% every day.
